Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is the scientific and official publication of the Turkish Society of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine and published three times per year; in April, August and December. Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is an international electronic periodical based on independent and unbiased peer-review principles and is published both in Turkish and English.

Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine is indexed in EMBASE, Scopus, EMCare, CINAHL, Gale/Cengage Learning, EBSCO, DOAJ, ProQuest, Index Copernicus and Turkiye Citation Index.

Journal of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine publishes reviews, case reports, editorials and letters to the editor, and particularly original articles about clinical and basic science research on intensive care, including pediatric intensive care, neurointensive care, intensive care nursing, physiotherapy in intensive care, and acute and emergency medicine.
